THE Paternity TEST RESULTS are in, and SMART Belize Hurricanes, YOU ARE THE DADDY OF THE San Pedro Tiger Sharks..(Maury Voice).... WHO's YOUR DADDY NOW? It was a night filled with excitement and anxiety. The Tiger Sharks arrived at the venue at 7:00pm sharp for shoot around. The entire team seemed focus and mentally prepared for what was dubbed the biggest game of the regular season.. The fans came out in the hundreds to witness this monster showdown and they were not disappointed. The game started, with the category 5 hurricane hitting the sharks squarely in the mouth with a 25 to 13 score to end the first quarter. The sharks were hit with the tenacious defense of the hurricane and there was a little blood shed in the water where the blood thirsty sharks made a valiant come back to take their first and only lead 56 - 55 late in the third quarter.. But like a good movie.. All the excitement in the middle but we already know how it would end.. The Category 5 hurricane devastated the sharks in the fourth quarter to pull off the victory 78 - 69 to remain the DADDY of the Tiger Sharks and improve to a 9 -1 record.. Smart Belize Hurricanes would like to THANK all the fans that came out to support... YOU ARE OUR STRONGEST ASSET AND WE APPRECIATE YOU!!
Up next for the hurricanes will be the Dangriga Warriors in Dangriga.. Respect the City, Love the Game!!

They say that a hurricane gets stronger in warm water.. They were RIGHT.. Ask the San Pedro Tiger Sharks.. They also say that a hurricane gets weaker when it passes through the mountainous terrain.... They were WRONG... Ask the western Ballaz... The Smart Belize Hurricanes is now 8 and 1 after defeating the western Ballaz last night in the hills of Cayo. The hurricanes went into the hills and destroyed the SO CALLED HURRICANE SHELTER the Ballaz were claiming to have.. The game was over from the 1st quarter. The hurricanes never trailed and end up winning 76 - 67 when the final whistle was blown. Smart Belize Hurricanes was led by Far D Pitts Louriano with 23point 11 rebounds, Leroy Darrington Louriano "WHO IS NOW BACK" with 11 points and Brian White who was a monster tallying 11 points and 16 rebounds.. The Ballaz were led by James Milton with 27points.

The Ballaz declared before the game that the Scared Heart Gymnasium is a hurricane shelter but they made a big mistake by allowing a dog into the shelter (see picture #4 below).. Belize Elementary Gym is the TRUE hurricane shelter, we don't allow DOGS NOR SHARKS...
Up next for the Hurricanes will be the San Pedro Tiger Sharks on Friday 11th March at the TRUE hurricane shelter..BIG thank you to all the CATEGORY 5 Fans who traveled with the team to CAYO!!!!!!

It was a bitter sweet weekend for the Smart Belize Hurricanes losing a BITTER close game on Friday night at the Hurricane Shelter and winning a SWEET blow out game on Saturday night in Orange Walk. On Friday night, the Bandits brought two bus load of people, they brought the washing machine, the iron, the toaster, the refrigerator, the kitchen sink and they also brought the Honourable  John Saldivar. It was an entertaining game and hurricanes lead throughout the entire game but it was in the waining minutes of the fourth quarter that the lead went back and forth. When the showdown was over, the bandits narrowly escaped with the 85 - 83 Win.. Far D Pitts Louriano was the high-man for the hurricanes dropping 30 points and Puppy Leslie with 15points..Nick Brown had 24 points and Jarrell Berne Velasquezhad 17 points for the Bandits. Congrats to Bandits, let's continue to make the NEBL grow.

However on SATURDAY NIGHT, the Orange Walk Running Rebels felt the full brunt of an angry hurricane. From the game started, the hurricanes set the tone and still is the #1 team in NEBL. The hurricanes showed their supremacy by displaying it on the defensive and offensive end. The final score was 98 - 45 in favor of the hurricanes..respect to the running rebels, keep pushing!!!The hurricanes are still focus and pushing to achieve their overall goals.. NEVER BACK DOWN, NEVER GIVE UP!!! Making the Belize District proud..THANKS TO THE FANS who came out Friday and supported us and the ones that followed us to orange walk..We are now 7 and 1
