Hurricanes Front Office

 

The Belize Hurricanes is a Semi Professional Basketball organization that is dedicated to excellence in sports performance, community based relationship development and building the sports industry to a sustainable market. Sports have always been the cornerstone of the Belizean culture, dating back to our colonial roots and to this day it continues to be the unifying element in our mass gathering and identity development.

 

No group has contributed more to this culture than the ownership and management of the Belize Hurricanes. Dating back more than 30 years, hurricanes front office boasts a unique group of young professionals and savvy veterans of the Belize basketball scene. We have been involved with the 1998 Caricom basketball Tournament at the highest management levels and hold a gold medal from its historic success. In addition we have six (6) Semi-Pro basketball rings as coaches and management from the early years of the league. In addition, we were responsible for the revival of the high level basketball after its fall in early 2000 as the founding owners of the then Interoffice Basketball league (IBL). Our management and ownership group have a demonstrated commitment to sports generally and basketball specifically and have the requisite relationships and skills to develop a first class product on the floor and an organization that will make for proud and fruitful partnership.
